Hisaki Shintaku is the managing director of British Pride Ltd and the owner of the unique tea salon “Three Tiers”, specializing in afternoon tea. He also owns the classic London Routemaster bus in Japan. With a background in journalism, Hisaki was the editor of the Quality Britain, the British Embassy’s publication for 20 years, as well as chief editor of the Eikoku Tokusyu/RSVP magazines from 2004 to 2018.
As a hub of cultural and economic exchanges between Japan and the UK, he has been working extensively to enhance “Britain in Japan” in collaboration with government organisations and companies. He also has been holding various kinds of events related to Britain, coordinating British fairs at major department stores, leading group tours to the UK and importing products from UK.
